Mendi Hopper, Building Principal
Principal, Mendi Hopper has been with the Francis Howell School District for 5 years. Prior to that, she served as a kindergarten teacher/leader in the Jackson R-2 (MO) School District for 19 years. Her career began with the Cape Girardeau Public School District as a teacher/director with the Missouri Preschool Project.
She received a bachelor’s in early childhood education from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s in elementary administration from William Woods
Hopper’s greatest strengths include collaborative leadership, the ability to communicate with a diverse population, creating a shared vision, and analyzing data in order to monitor progress and set goals. As principal, she strives to create a school culture and educational program conducive to student learning and development.
